Save a VM as a template

When you save an environment as a template, you can choose to save all of the environment VMs in the template, or just some of them.

To create a template with a single VM in it

1. Follow the instructions for saving the environment as a template.

   

2. During the save process:

   • Clear the check boxes for the other VMs to exclude them from the template.
   • Optionally, save all of the networks or none of the networks attached to the VM.
