August 2025
The August 2025 release included:
IBM Power 10 in more regions
Kyndryl Cloud Uplift has expanded IBM Power 10 to the following additional regions:
- CN-HongKong-M-1 (hkm1r1)
- SG-Singapore-M-1 (sgm1r1)
- US-Virginia-M-2 (vgm1r1)
In addition to the increased performance of the Power 10 platform, the Kyndryl Cloud Uplift Power 10 offering provides new capabilities, including:
- Support for more memory and processors per LPAR.
- Dual VIOS.
- Support for IBM i 7.6.

Replacement of IP addresses for Kyndryl Cloud Uplift and US-West region
On August 17, 2025, Kyndryl Cloud Uplift updated the IP addresses for the US-West region and the Kyndryl Cloud Uplift web interface. All existing domain names should resolve normally but if you currently have network firewall rules that specifically allow Kyndryl Cloud Uplift IP addresses, you must update the firewall rules to permit access to the new IP addresses.

The July 2025 release included:
IBM Power 10 in Amsterdam
Kyndryl Cloud Uplift now offers IBM Power 10 in the Amsterdam region (NL-Amsterdam-M-1).
In addition to the increased performance of the Power 10 platform, the Kyndryl Cloud Uplift Power 10 offering provides new capabilities, including:
- Support for more memory and processors per LPAR.
- Dual VIOS.
- Support for IBM i 7.6.

Replacement of IP addresses for Kyndryl Cloud Uplift and US-West region
On August 17, 2025, Kyndryl Cloud Uplift will update the IP addresses for the US-West region and the Kyndryl Cloud Uplift web interface. All of the existing domain names will resolve normally but if you currently have network firewall rules that specifically allow Kyndryl Cloud Uplift IP addresses, you will need to update the allow lists to permit access to the new IP addresses.
