What IP addresses and port ranges does Kyndryl Cloud Uplift use?
To use Kyndryl Cloud Uplift and connect to your virtual machines, specific ports and IP addresses must be open through your local or corporate network. The specific requirements are listed below.
Generally, connections are made to or from the Kyndryl Cloud Uplift region where the virtual machine resides. For more information about regions, see Understanding regions.
Traffic by connection type
Cloudflare
To enhance security, availability, and performance, Kyndryl Cloud Uplift is adding Cloudflare on February 1, 2026.
We recommend adding the CloudFlare IP address ranges before February 1, 2026, to prevent any disruption of connectivity to Kyndryl Cloud Uplift.
Inbound
Inbound UDP traffic is blocked over TCP port 389.
Regardless of region, to access the Kyndryl Cloud Uplift web interface, you need direct access to the HTTPS/SSL port (TCP/IP port 443) at cloud.skytap.com (199.204.216.130).
If this page loads, you have access to the Kyndryl Cloud Uplift web interface (you don’t need to sign in).
Connections to a VM using the Secure Remote Access (SRA) browser client require access to port 443 (for HTTPS/SSL traffic) at one of the following addresses. Use the same region as the VM.

Attaching a published service to a VM opens a single port through the Kyndryl Cloud Uplift VM firewall. This open port can be used to connect to a VM using services such as direct RDP, web server, SSH, and SMTP server. Traffic is port-forwarded from the higher-end port assigned using the published service to the local port of the VM. The full range of TCP/IP ports used by published services is 8193–32767 (inclusive). The above port range opens at one of the following addresses. Use the same region as the VM.
